Waterville UCC is proud to sponsor Richard, a young student in the Philippines, through Kalauman Center for Development (a Global Ministries project).

Who is Kalauman Center?

Kalauman, which means “from where you can draw hope,” is a community-based center in Dumaguete City, Philippines, that offers educational programs, health services, Christian education, and community engagement.

The funds from child sponsorships are used for educational costs, medical assistance, cultural activities, and a college or trade-school savings fund for each child.
Kalauman also plans and builds its own facility to better house classrooms, offices, and multipurpose space for children, families, and community events.

Our Sponsorship of Richard

• Through your support, Richard receives access to education, mentoring, and support services that he may not otherwise have.

• Your contributions help cover his school supplies, tuition, health needs, and enrichment activities.

• Beyond the individual, your sponsorship helps Kalauman expand its reach in the community and invest in a brighter future for many children.
